Our Business Initiatives.

Bachpan

A small shop tucked away on a high street in a quaint Cotswold village serving food from our Bachpan, our childhood.
Our principles of operation:
1. Veg produce is sourced from local farmers.
2. Milk from local dairies.
3. Bread from local bakeries.
4. Food is served in handmade biodegradable plates & bowls made with Sal leaves. Chai is served in handmade biodegradable Kulhad made from unglazed clay. Both are sourced directly from rural communities that manufacture them in India, which means everyone’s paid ethically.
5. Employees are paid more than the Real Living Wage.

Gola Vala.

A cart [made out of a wooden frame on four bicycle wheels] serving Gola on the high street of another quaint village in Cotswold. What’s a Gola? Imagine a snowball on a stick, crushed fresh from a block of ice, moulded by hand, and drenched in syrups.
Our principles of operation:
1. Use minimal electricity.
2. Create flavors of syrup using local flowers & produce.
3. Pay employees more than the Real Living Wage.
4. Minimal raw material comes from supermarkets.
